Testimonials

"I love it when Sticks and Tones play at my venue. The passion for each song is the same from beginning to end. They always keep a crowd, every-single-time. It’s that comfort of booking them and knowing they will do the above is why I always keep going back to them to play. I love them both to death quite frankly. Phil"

Phil Coorey, George Banks Rooftop Bar

"I can recommend Sticks & Tones with confidence after having them perform at The Met Hotel a number of times. They play all the great classics that everyone loves to hear and they don’t hesitate to put 100% into their performance which really helps to get the crowd going. As a duo they have the ability to provide a full band sound at the lower price point of a duo."

Kosta Theodosis, The Metropolitan Hotel

"Sticks and Tones have been nothing but easy to deal with at the Irish! They are very reliable and can keep everybody dancing all night long. they have a very diverse list of songs and are true performers. If you are looking for affordable quality live music I couldn't recommend them more."

Bridget Treasure, The Irish Club Hotel

"Darcy and Tom, the ‘Sticks and Tones’ duo performed at our Western Queensland Tower Hill Picnic Amateur Race Club meet in April 2021. From the start Sticks and Tones were excellent to deal with. The duo were genuine, patient and flexible as they liaised with the Tower Hill committee to arrive at the perfect live music arrangement for our event. Sticks and Tones made the logistics of transporting large amounts of equipment 1300km very easy and we are thankful for their persistence and commitment despite our event‘s remote location. As a committee we were impressed with the questions which Sticks and Tones asked about the expected audience to ensure they were appropriately prepared and could cater for our needs properly.

We were even more impressed by their initiative to learn some extra songs which we pointed out would be crowd favourites. Over the two nights which Sticks and Tones performed, the dance floor was packed until the very end. As a committee we received nothing but positive feedback about the duo. We would love to have Sticks and Tones back at Tower Hill in the years to come. Sticks and Tones’ flexibility, adaptability and impressive musical skillset leave our committee with no hesitation in recommending them to anybody who is hosting a public/private gathering and in need of high quality live music."

Richard Harries, Tower Hill Race Committee
